From China comes this invigorating semi-oxidized semiball-rolled Oolong tea that is light in style, has a lingering flavor with a mild earthy green taste and a floral aroma.
Oolongs, a tea with marvelous complexity, are the wide, wide category of tea in between green and black tea. It combines their qualities giving it several interesting health benefits. Oolong teas, aka wulong or black dragon, are made from large leaves that are produced in the late Spring and are the most labor intensive tea to produce. Traditionally, these more oxidized teas are steeped multiple times producing new flavors with each subsequent brew. If you are using a smaller capacity teapot, you can resteep up to 5 times.
